I went to the Barack Obama speech today. There were 18,000 people in the stadium and another 3,000 (including me) who were outside, freezing their butts off. When Obama arrived, he made a short speech to those of us on the outside (so fitting, don’t you think?) and shook some hands before he went inside. Now that’s classy.
He addressed the question of Why now? Why run for president now? And he answered, because of “the fierce urgency of now.” That’s the person I want for president.

That was so awesome I watched it twice. I’m disappointed that I will miss the caucus tomorrow – yet in reality it doesn’t matter that much. My absentee ballot was immediately filled out and returned upon receipt. I voted for change. YES. WE. CAN!
