Say Hello to Willy Wonka and Peep

We have some new family members here at Four Chickens.

Willy Wonka (with Girlfriend and named by her). Willie is a Cuckoo Maran, a breed that lays chocolate brown eggs (hence the fabulous name by Girlfriend). You can tell how happy Girlfriend is by the size of her smile!

Peep is a Silver-Laced Wyandotte (like Rosie). She is being held by a friend (who also named her).

We will be getting more chicks next week, but right now we are thrilled to have happy peeps in the house again.
