So, don’t tell me if you voted. Just tell me things you’ve seen on this day of voting. Also, please include your name and make sure that you entered your email correctly on the comment form. I was a volunteer poll observer, I had the privilege of being at the polls first thing in the morning and seeing a man come 10 minutes early, wait to vote. I asked him if he was excited to vote, he told me it was his first time to vote, he was probably 35 years old. Gave him the high five for getting out and voting.He got to be first in line and get to see that the ballot box was empty, then sealed after he placed the first vote in it. Pretty cool to be a part of his journey.

Today I saw my daughter excited by being able to put my ballot in the box for me 🙂 This, after she asked my husband and I if voting was just a test (I think she was referring to the bubble filling in).

I voted by mail, however, I was e-mailed a picture of Romney praying behind scenes & I saw a hero in him.

Well I was out and about and saw lots of voting stickers too oh and a nice long line of people. =)
I love voting by mail. I saw a Drop Off Box sign on the curb outside the library in Edmonds tonite, & a few folks nearby.
I was expecting a much longer line when I voted. I was in and out in five minutes.
I saw children coloring electoral vote maps, red and blue. 🙂
My husband and I vote by mail here in Washington State. I researched the issues and candidates. I also baked a lot this week.

I voted and had my preschoolers do a mock election. Cookie Monster won and a three year old had a write in candidate – Tinkerbelle. (:
I voted. On the line I saw the greeter from my Meijers supermarket and my podiatrist. The voter helper lady was wearing red and green like it was an office Christmas party-maybe she was confused. I noticed there were no restrooms in sight. I kind of wished I didn’t drink two. Cups of coffee before standing in that long line. Sigh.

I saw lots of people handing out “I voted!” stickers and buttons and many more people encouraging people to go vote!
Today was my normal day – except I threw in 15 minutes to go vote (I’ve researched everything beforehand, and take my “cheat” sheet in the booth with me)…
However, a normal day for me includes dropping off & picking up children off at 3 different schools (elementary, middle, high school), helping with my daughter and son-in-law, making dinner, and working on my research project for my senior thesis…
and I haven’t even gotten to tonight yet…
My husband is working at the precinct. I voted in early voting a week ago Monday and proud of it.

I like to vote by mail since I work about 60 miles from my polling place. Have a great election day.
I voted early a few Saturdays ago. I am always surprised at all the names on the ballot that I have never heard of. I always vow to do my homework better next time and find out who all these people are running for office but then I never do. Shame on me.
Our polling site was moving along smoothly with no waiting.
I was proud to see my 7 year old with two “I Voted” stickers on her shirt from going to vote with mom and dad.
I saw a long line of people and we had to wait outside in the cold Virginia morning (6:30 a.m. and 35-40 degrees, ugh). I saw an interesting paper ballot where I had to connect the arrows next to the names I wanted to vote for…then scan it for my vote to count.
Yay America!
We saw lots of others dropping off their votes at the Post Office.

Voting by mail is convenient, but you don’t get a sticker after! Oddly enough, there’s a polling place across the street from my office window, so I’ve been watching people come and go all morning.

I left the house before the polls opened this morning. I still have a bit to go, but I will be there waiting in line right after I get out of here. Not looking forwad to the line, but it’s worth the wait.
I seen encouaging words to remember ever candidate is someone’s mother, father, child, sister or brother, and fellow human being. So be respectful for we all have something in common. (Hope I win your wonderful looking book!)

Great giveaway! Today on the campus where I work, there were kids (probably 10 years old) from a local school, on campus area, that were out there SHOUTING for people to go vote. Not for a certain candidate, but they all had VOTE signs. It was great. Love the buzz here in Wisconsin!

Now I think I will celebrate that the election is almost over by playing with your fabulous pie crust- practicing for Thanksgiving!

Very lucky our state has voting by mail. It should be that way across the country. Making people stand in lines for hours is crazy – deterring people from voting shouldn’t be allowed.
This is my first presidential election living outside of California and it’s been interesting to see more moving and shaking here in Washington about the election.
It’s an uncommonly sunny and clear day out here in Pittsburgh! We’re not that used to beautiful weather, but I’m sure it will help the turnout if the sun doesn’t blind all of us light-sensitive types .
There wasn’t a long line at my voting center but it was indeed a busy place. They didn’t have stickers. That was a bummer!
Ok, I won’t tell you if I voted, but I will say that this vote-by-mail stuff is boring! It’s a gorgeous day here in Eastern WA 🙂

It’s been an interesting election day so far. I’m glad that I was able to vote early this past weekend. Now, I’m just encouraging people to get out and vote.
There was a bake sale to benefit the school where the voting takes place. There was quite a line to vote in my precinct. So good to see people out exercising their constitutional right.

I voted way early during the first week of early voting!!! Yes! Yes! Yes! Everybody should use their voice & exercise the right to vote. Honor our veterans and current military for their dedication and time spent away from their families. It will be tight this year. Hope all is peaceful and clear!
