That’s what I’m feeling right now. I just finished a knitting project and I’m in the tizzy I go through whenever I need to choose a new project. I get all antsy and excited and annoyed and feel like my head’s going to explode. I thought I was going to knit the Elizabeth Zimmerman Fair Isle Yoke Sweater next (go look at Jessica’s, it’s so pretty!). But, I loved my most recently completed project (below) that I did in Elsebeth Lavold’s Silky Wool, and I have more Silky Wool, that I want to knit more with that. And, I want a lighter sweater for the upcoming spring. Hence the tizzy. I guess you could say that my knitting to-do list got rearranged. And I’m all thrown off by that.
I just finished the Tangled Yoke Sweater by Eunny Jang. I love it! It is a well-written and pretty pattern. And I just love wearing it. I haven’t even blocked it because I don’t want to take it off. Details:
Pattern: Tangled Yoke Cardigan by Eunny Jang from the Winter 2007 Interweave Knits
Yarn: Silky Wool by Elsebeth Lavold in Sage
Needles: US 4 and 3 circular needles, with a US 0 for 3 needle bind off
The new sweater I’ve just cast on for is one from Garnstudio DROPS, with the tantalizing name of #110-23. Why they don’t name these with nicer names, I’ll never know. I just cast on with Silky Wool in a pretty blue color. Yum. I can feel my tizzy dimishing as we speak…
