Hey! I’ve been blogging for 3 years now! Wow. What a wild ride we’ve had, huh? I mean, so much has happened in these years. Remember when Girlfriend said cute things? Or the several times we rode the carousel at Christmas? Or the times when the chickens walked around in the yard? Or the times we went swimming, played soccer, practiced the violin, knitted something, baked something, got sick, or had some sort of weather outside? Wow. And let’s not forget the terrific pictures. Remember these?
In honor of all the fabulousness, I would like to keep with what seems to be blog tradition and give away a prize using the “pick a name out of a hat” system. Since I know that all 8 of my readers come to my blog to read about all sorts of amazing things, I will tailor the giveaway to the winning commenter. If you’re a knitter, maybe some yarn, if you’re a tea lover, maybe some tea, if you’re gluten free, maybe something gf, if you’re a chicken lover, maybe a book about our favorite birds. You know. So, please comment and let me know that you’re reading (in other words, delurk) and what things you like to read on my blog (which I understand will be too numerous to tell me all of them, so just go with a few).

Hi there. Don’t recall if I’ve commented before. I actually met you at a party my daughter and yours attended – can’t remember if it was a movie night or birthday party – it could have been more than once. We have several mutual friends. I found you from someone’s knitting blog so that’s why I started reading. I enjoy reading your descriptions of our changeable Seattle weather, too. My blog’s so seldom updated, I’m embarrassed to tell you the url.
