This is my perfect breakfast-in-progress thanks to Sasha, one of my knitting buddies. I won a contest on her blog (I’d like to thank everyone who made this possible) and she dropped off my prize yesterday–a bag filled with all sorts of goodies. I found it on my porch it last night when I got home. It has everything a gluten-free, knitting, tea-loving gal could want: NUMI tea (one of my favorite brands), gluten-free croissants, chocolate and plain (plain and chocolate, people!), and knitting magazines:
The croissants are the thing that I am complete ecstasy about. You see, gluten-free croissants are hard to come by. Either you have to make them (have you ever made croissants? It’s tedious. The last time I made croissants was in college.). Or you have to do without. Until now. These are commercially made croissants–and they are delicious! Granted, it’s been 8+ years since I’ve had a croissant, but I know good when I eat it. Sigh. Tea, knitting magazines and croissants. Could life get more perfect? Thank you, Sasha!
Excuse me, I have to go devour more croissants.

There are some super-cute sock patterns in the Holiday Interweave Knits magazine! I can’t wait to make them – I think I’ll use a skein of Tulip that I damaged with an errant open sharpie marker (doh! duh!) Oh, and did you see that cool hat by Jared Flood – modeled after the Seattle Public Library no less.

Awesome!! Come on over if you want to try your luck again!
